Thank you to those who participated in the listening sessions “Identifying Barriers to Implementing Innovative Concrete Across the Value Chain (Session 1,2,3)” held in February, organized by UC Davis as part of an ACI Foundation-sponsored research project. Your insights and contributions were instrumental in shaping the outcomes of this effort. We are pleased to share that the roadmap developed from the findings of the three-part listening sessions is now available on the ACI Foundation’s Research Project Directory.
We would also like to invite you to a follow-up event at the upcoming ACI Concrete Convention in Atlanta, Georgia. The summit, organized by the ACI Foundation and NEU in collaboration with UC Davis, is titled: “Increasing the Pace of Change: Working Together for Better Concrete Across the Value Chain.”
The summit will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 1:00–4:00 PM and is free to attend. It will feature speakers who participated in the listening sessions and will highlight the key findings and recommendations presented in the roadmap. The event will also provide an opportunity to continue the discussion on advancing collaboration and accelerating innovation across the concrete industry. You must register as part of the registration for the ACI convention, as space is limited.
