Lab2Slab will host an Open House on April 23rd as part of the annual California Concrete Pavement Conference, the premier West Coast concrete pavement conference focused on the design and construction of resilient, long-life concrete roads, highways, bridges, and parking areas. Learn from top industry professionals, researchers, policymakers, and industry stakeholders. Discover impactful innovations in the design and construction of durable and sustainable concrete infrastructure.
The UCPRC Lab2Slab April 23 Open House Schedule:
Breakfast starts at 8 am, live demonstrations will take place all morning, and a taco truck will arrive at 11 am.
UCPRC will construct and evaluate three test concrete pavement cells, featuring:
Ground Glass Pozzolan – PozzoDyne from AggrePlex
Reactive Penetrating Surface Treatment – Vetrofluid from Ecobeton – USA
Carbon-rich SCM – BioPozz from Solid Carbon
The FHWA’s Mobile Concrete Technology Center will be onsite!
This interactive mobile lab will showcase cutting-edge technology for materials selection, mixture design, field & laboratory testing, and pavement evaluation.
