Roadmap Published for Implementing Emerging Concrete Materials – Barriers and Actionable Strategies Across the Concrete Pavement Value Chain

Thank you to participants in the “Identifying Barriers to Implementing Innovative Concrete Across the Value Chain (Session 1,2,3)” listening sessions held in February. Organized by UC Davis for an ACI Foundation-sponsored research project, your insights were instrumental. The roadmap developed from these sessions is now available on the ACI Foundation’s Research Project Directory.

We invite you to a follow-up event at the ACI Concrete Convention in Atlanta, Georgia. The summit, “Increasing the Pace of Change: Working Together for Better Concrete Across the Value Chain,” is organized by the ACI Foundation and NEU in collaboration with UC Davis.

The free summit will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 1:00–4:00 PM. It will feature speakers from the listening sessions, highlight key roadmap findings, and continue discussions on collaboration and innovation in the concrete industry. Registration is required as part of the ACI convention registration, as space is limited.
